Comments: An obvious cast contemporary piece with poor workmanship. Weight is only 9 grams against normal 12.5 grams for mint struck coin. Normal coin turn with crude reeding. Surfaces are rough with random surfaces bumps or defect. The base metal is suspected to be antimony. Considering the number of contemporary counterfeits in the LSCC database, this is the first 1874 With Arrows piece to be recorded. It was purchased in a small coin shop in Florida during late 2013.
