It is with great pleasure that I render the first six volumes of my Register series available for gratis use. Volumes I thru IV include details of the mintmarked die marriages of the Liberty Seated half dollar series. Volumes V-VI includes the Philadelphia Mint die marriages from 1839-1852 and 1856-1873 NA. This is a new previously unpublished reference which details all examples of the 1878-S half dollar known to me. This reference features an image of each coin, key identification characteristics, grade, and third-party identification (if any), known pedigree information, and any miscellaneous notes pertaining to each coin.
• Bugert, Bill, Liberty Seated Half Dollar Die Marriage Diagrams Volume I: The Branch Mints. Gettysburg, PA: Self-published, 2014. This booklet is a compilation of the hand drawn die diagrams for the Liberty Seated half dollar Branch Mint die marriages. These diagrams match the characteristics, descriptions, and photographs of the die marriages as listed in the first four volumes of the Liberty Seated Half Dollar Register books by Bill Bugert.
